U guys seen the commercial for the new Pontiac G6??!

I saw it and thought it was a TC commercial but then I saw the 4 doors and the Crazy Sunroof and Front Grill and found out it was a Pontiac..

Its a Lil' more Expensive, But they come w/ V6s


The Taillights and Lip Spoiler Look Similar..


The Front looks nothing like it tho..

What do you guys think?!

I don't like any of the new pontiacs for some reason. I really hate the headlights (on all/most of them)... and that door line.... it's not straight *twitch*...

 

Im not saying I like it..Im just showing U guys it..

I wouldnt trade my Scion TC for this car under any circumstances..hehe

 

the gto and the new grangprix gtp's are nice and fast as hell but im probly wouldnt trade my tc for any of them either

 

Nicer shape then the TC, But TC has Nicer Lights...

no its just that i have to sit at work talking to dumbass ppl on the phone all night so i stair at pics for a while to drone the sound of there voices out

 

Interior like in BAT mobile I never liked Pontiacs, but this one is definately their best looking product.

 

In addition to being ugly, I also think the G6 is overpriced. Base is 21,300; sure you get a 200hp V6, but you also get wheel covers and no sunroof at that price. Maybe I'm a little spoiled by the tC.

 

Notice where the foglights are on the Pontiac. Maybe they will filt the tC.

 

Another Ion clone. The Ion was first, sorry tC. Everytime I think I see a tC, I look closer and it's an Ion.

 

Just so you know, the tC has and "straight" or "inline" 4, not a v4, but I don't really dig the G6 either. Besides the fact that I think it's ugly, I just don't think 200hp from a V6 is adequite anymore. Considerng Subaru and Nissan can push 170-180 from 4 cylinders (while still keeping torque and not reving like crazy) while maintaining a lighter engine and better milage. That's why I dont' like the Tiburon: week v6 and too front heavy.

 

The G6 interior looks a lot like the Mazda6. I don't like either. I like my tC's interior much better.

 

I have no idea with this one but with mention it anyway. Gm and toyota have been doing a lot of platform sharing recently, matrix and vibe share a platform and gm has always had a similiar version of the corolla. It looks very similiar is dimension and basic layout, so i could say there is a chance the g6 and tc share a platform

I don't see what the big deal about the G6 is. People keep comparing the looks to the TC. Other than the slight similarities with the tail lights. The G6 looks nothing like the TC.

Also, a lot of people keep commenting about the G6 and how great it looks.....REALLY? I think its a little boring, it looks like a cross between the Grand Prix and a Honda Accord....BORING

The only thing I give the G6 credit for is making a good commercial. It gets people all excited like it did me....that was until I saw pictures of it on the internet and said "whats so special about this car, its an updated grand prix"
