So that I got it right, ill need:

1) The head unit (AVIC-D3Z)
2) Steering Wheel adapter

I dont know if you answered this question earlier: When I order the AVIC-D3Z headunit, will it come with a bracket and wire-harness included, or will I need to get those seperately?

 

same install time with the SNS but one thing is that the factory doesn't cover ANY sound related issues after they see an aftermarket HU. with the SNS... if nything goes wrong... Toyota can fix it w/o Hesitation.

...and everything is hassle free (no steering control peripheral, no wiring harness needed)all u need is a Fit Kit... 45bucks from toyota

 

^it should come with it, but i would order on the phone from crutchfield, they are the nicest people ever and will make sure you have everything, also another perk is that if you order it from them and get stuck on the install, you can call their tech support and they will help you

Ill try to install myself, but if I hit a snag,..... straight to Circut City... Lol.

Hell ya man, good comparison between the 2. I was stuck, but my budget is what finally decided. I would do the 2200$ system... just cant afford it.. and I dont know anyone who has it for cheap...
