So I contacted scion about the spec, apparently the discontinued it for 2009.

So I am going to have to try to find an 08. And I got an exhaust ticket for my honda the other day and I am so sick of it, I decided im just going to sell it immediately and I'm shooting to have the scion by christmas (that way I can ask for parts for it haha).

Palmdale was sorta nice a few years back, its a totally different town now. Its getting really ghetto, everyones movin up here from LA, inglewood, etc... a lot of section 8 homes are going up out here. crime has increased a lot. my fiance and i are gettin outta this town after she finishes her nursing programs. so in another year or 2.

I see your from washington... state? correct? what part? I was born and raised in the vancouver/portland,oregon area. We are moving back up there after school.

Huh? Regardless of RWD or not it sells because its a lower price point for the same car without all the factory non-essentials. I bought mine for 15k out the door brand new and I bought aftermarket wheels. Those stock wheels are not worth 2k to me neither the sunroof. If you really wanted the stock alloy wheels, you can get a whole set for less than 300 with tires...

Im sorry but thats a retarded comment Coolwaterz.

Yeah with my Spec I bought the base model 17"s and no one can tell the difference.

Think of the Spec as a Civic DX...but with more, way more.

None of those features are worth 2k to me either. I can add my rims, spoiler, window tint and the wiring and materials I will need to put in my system for that 2k I will be saving.

You also lose cruise control... but honestly I never use it. And if I am driving for a long distance we usually take my fiance's 05 corrolla.

If I end up missing cruise control that much I can always install a aftermarket cruise control system, I'm an installer, that kind of stuff is way easy.

I cant wait til I get to go to valencia in a few weeks for my girls dr appt and finally talk with scion about ordering my car!!!!
