They give you a crummy car that they can't get off their lot, and make your problem.

Which Kia model is being offered? Oh and Kia cars are built off Hyundai platforms. And btw, Hyundai has the same quality levels as Mercedes Benz, which is good or bad, depending on your perspective.
my dad's hyundai sante fe is a piece of junk. it's a first year model, but is already starting to rust on the back fender area. it's had about 6 recalls on it too....
Of course, and that says a lot about Mercedes' build quality as well. . . no joke. . . look it up. But I'm sure your dad's car was a POS, but realize that one bad car doesn't mean they are all bad. . . statistically, a hyundai is about as reliable as a Mercedes (new, not the old school tanks). Now that says a lot about BOTH companies. . . it means Hyundai isn't THAT bad, but it also says that Mercedes is FAR behind. But compare both companies with Toyota or Honda, and. . .

ok, that 10 year warranty does NOT mean the dealers are selling cars that are expecting a lot of problems. it means that they have full confidence in reliability aspects. Companies use buiness "tactics" like 10year/100k miles as an INCENTIVE for you to buy your car(as oppsed to scaring you away), toyota with their line of sales do not need to offer 10 year warranties to help sell their cars; those that work in toyota dealerships know that they make bank from cars like camerys etc. toyota doesnt need to waste money on unnecessary warranties.

the first car i ever bought was a used 01 kia rio. i needed a car quick and it was only 6000. but that thing got me through 2 alaskan winters with no studded tires and no problems. i also got it up to 110 for a long period of time on the Alcan and still no problems. It was plain as hell and manual everything, but super reliable and did what i needed it to do at the time. i will probably never own a kia again, but i was impressed with the one i had.

I have to give them some credit for their original intentions though. They were trying to build a plain, fuel efficient cheap, cheap car for those that needed just that. I mean, for a point a to point b work car they had the right idea (if their reliability hadnt gone downhill). Many people spend 5 or 6 grand on a work or "winter" car that is used... so if they could spend the same and have a 10 year warranty then it served its purpose.

I had a Kia Sedona and had no issues with it. In fact it was a great van. We traded it for the xB though because we only had two kids and the gas was killing us (all vans get bad gas mileage). My mother-in-law is about to trade her old van in and I'm going to recommend this to her.

well if u really dont care what u drive..then two kias are a good choice..i mean cmon its two cars..they get u to point A to B..but if i was in ur situation id get the tC..cuz u know.. tc's are kool..
so if u dont need two cars, go with the tc
and if u do and dont care what u drive, get the two kias

Looks like Kia is in some business trouble. A ford dealership had this same promo, Buy a ranger, get an escort free. They soon went out of business.
