Change the color of the Brake Claper Black or match the color of the lug nuts.

I did the install and its not hard at all IMO.

The kick panel and the other two panels are easy enough to take off. If you don't like soldering, you can t-tap the constant power, switched power, reverse signal and ground points. For the other four wires involved with the mirror motors, you cut them completely and you can use crimps if you like.

I highly recommend soldering as its much more reliable. T-taps can be tricky if your not familiar with them, and do not have the proper T-tap for the wire gauge present. I've also played with wiring setups that were crimped and when pulling on them, they come off (when properly installed they shouldn't) so those can be tricky too. I just had to trouble shoot an IS constant power source over because there is a cheat method of putting it in with an OE fuse. Solder is the way to go.

Did you install the mirror module for the passenger mirror? If so, is the DIY article for the passenger mirror?

After numerous times putting the car in reverse, do you have to adjust the mirror or does it always come back to the proper spot?

Thanks!

Its for the passenger side mirror.

I will be doing the "deluxe" version soon to do both mirrors, seeing it looks easier on the tC than most cars.

The module has two *****. One for both up and down motion, it dictates how great that motion/tilt is. The other **** is for fine tuning the upward tilt to compensate for the fact that up and down tough being the same time duration wise, does not get the mirror back to the original spot. This **** "tweaks" the upward tilt so that after a few sessions, you should have it dialed in and the motion is very repeatable.

Man, I feel like a thread jack, let me know if this is getting out of hand.
