Default Self-Denting tC?

Well, I know the title sounds stupid, but I know for a fact that i'm having either a paint, or body problem. Okay, here's the story. One day I looked on the right side of my BSP tC. Along the line that goes down to the back of the tC, (below the passenger rear window) I see a bunch of vertical lines in the paint job (very light, not scratches). The lines looked like a warp on the clearcoat, kind of looks like something dent it, but there is clearly no indentation when you feel it. Anyway, the same exact thing happened to the left side of the car, I now have lines going down the side of the car. Now when I mean lines, I'm talking about lines that distort the light, so it looks like the paint is warped. Anyway, around the same area I find a dent about the size of a nickel. Again, no appearance of anything denting it, no scratches whatsoever. It's quite difficult to see head on, but from an angle the dent is obviously apparent. You can slightly feel the indentation with your finger. well now i'm wondering if MY tC has a problem with the body bending. i dont know, it's hard to explain. I'll try to post pic's up. But has anyone noticed any of these "lines" on their tC?

Also, would warranty cover this if it definately was a problem with my tC?

ahh, im so frustrated. I'd take it in to fix the dent at a body-shop but I dont know if these dent's will reoccur spontaneously....

Have you guys tried a paint cleaner before waxing? If there's no indentation, it could just be something in the paint...

Nonetheless, visit your dealer, or call the phone number in my signature.

I've got that same dent on the right side. Thought it was a door ding but it's too far back on the quarter panel really for a door, and theres no paint damage at all. Just a nice little dimple that you can only see from certain angles. I think this is a frame twisting problem, we should report it to scion headquarters and get this fixed for free, everyone go examine your rear quarterpanels beneath the rear passenger window for a dent or warping.

lol.. it looks worse in the picture than in person. the dent seems to run horizontally for about an inch and a half... a very clean crease in the body at that.

that dent should be really easy to bump out from the inside...just follow the instructions for taking out the rear speakers and you get directly behind that dent. it's really easy to get to. please do it, post some pics of it, i can't stand to see a dent like that on a tC, especially when it's so easy to fix.

hmm... damn I took it in, and all they said was that it wasn't covered and it looked like someone leaned back on my quarter-panel. I dont know if it's just this dealer, but they also couldn't fix my rattle problem, or my squeaking seat, or my squeaking clutch pedal. Enough said, I'm beginning to lose faith in Scion's. I took my car in for four things, and they only could fix one. That was the oil change. I'm going outside to make sure they put the correct amount of oil.

Oh yah... and they didn't reset the engine maintainance light. hmm..

w00t holy ____. I just used Ding King and viola, the dent is almost gone. I'm waiting 5 more minutes for my second round glue to dry, but omg, it's less noticible.
