Default Selling my TC1 - should I go back to stock?

I've had my car up for sale for about a month now, although it's at a reasonable price, I've had few real hits.

My question is: Should I revert everything back to stock to sell better? Or should i stick with it how it is?

I currently have on the car the following:
Hotchkis lowering springs
Injen CAI
Gold 18" XXR 962
TRD rear sway bar
VRD black upper and lower grill
Headlight Eyelids
Bazooka VSE Subwoofer
Non-Brand Front strut Bar. Painted gloss red.
WeatherTek in channel vent visors
5000k HID low beams

those really arent any major mods you probably could sell your car with them the only thing i see that might be a issue is the lowering springs

Take it back to stock, especially if you're selling the car with those mods and over pricing it. Generally cars with mods do not gain in value over the suggested sale price from reasonable sites. Obviously if you find someone that is looking to buy a modded car, you'll get a few good offers. However most people looking for a vehicle want something stock or close to.

I had a similar experience with a Civic a few years ago, tried for 3 months to sell with the mods and finally put it back to stock; sold the car within 2 weeks and sold everything else on ebay. i ended up making about $500 more that i originally was asking with the mods once everything sold.

i would revert back to stock with the exeption of these

TRD rear sway bar
Bazooka VSE Subwoofer

since they were dealer options, so they might actually help sell, everything else will just make it tougher to sell.

I was assuming I had to take it back to stock for a better sell, I just needed confirmation.

Next issue is I don't have the stock parts anymore.

I guess posting a FT in the classifieds forum is my next step.

Thanks guys.

Just make a thread on the classifieds to put your parts up for sale for a fair price and state plus stock part needed

the only way to sell a modded car is to sell it to an idiot. generally a young hot head with money and knows nothing about cars. That's honestly your best bet, but it WILL work, i've seen it plenty of times. they are out there! I sold my modded car to a kid right out of high school... he was a moron. i'm sure he totalled it by now. but make sure if you keep your mods, bring that price down otherwise you'll never get anything, even to a kid.

You don't have stock grill. I have been considering a VRD upper and lower grill for my car. But, I say go back to stock b/c you will probably get more money overall from selling car stock and then selling all parts.
