Default SEMA - DC Header Pic / Turbo Pic

Checked out SEMA today and snapped a few pics with my phone.

DC Header

This car with the Greddy Turbo was at the Scion booth.
I was very disappointed that Scion didn't bring one with the TRD Supercharger.

That header should be the one at McGeorge.

I'm going to bring my real camera with me tomorrow so expect some quality pics late Friday.

That's interesting no TRD supercharger to be shown. Production problems maybe?

The headers are the same dc headers that are on our site .

The TRD supercharger we were told had a production delay and got pushed back 2 months we hope to see it soon

Sweet!
2 Questions:
McGeorge: on your site, it says the header was dynotested for performance. Do you know what the HP gain was?
Turbo TC: I'm pretty sure the first pic is the header and the second 2 are the Greddy turbo. My question is, does the turbo replace the header? For example, if I were to get the header and a CAI, would I have to remove/replace both of them for the turbo? Doesen't the turbo use it's own header and intake?

Here is a better pic of the header...

I talk to the Greddy rep about the turbo and he said it won't be ready untill next Sept. or Oct.

Can anyone verify if both the headers and CAI will be replaced with the install of a turbo?

Yes they will. The turbo kit will come with a different manifold and intake as well.

Yes.

A turbo will require a different intake and its own manifold.

That's what I thought.
So the question is, would it make sense to spend a few hundred $ on the headers and a CAI for now, and then try to get rid of them on ebay if you plan on getting a turbo when they become available?

The header will void your warranty however it will be very hard to prove that the header caused the tranny or engine to have any problems so i dont believe the dealership will give you any issues with it.

If they do there are laws protecting you and as long as the header actually didnt cause any of the problems you will be covered.

Also check out over 60 new pictures from SEMA, all tc of course.
