SEMA - DC Header Pic / Turbo Pic
Checked out SEMA today and snapped a few pics with my phone.

DC Header

This car with the Greddy Turbo was at the Scion booth.
I was very disappointed that Scion didn't bring one with the TRD Supercharger.

Sweet!
2 Questions:
McGeorge: on your site, it says the header was dynotested for performance. Do you know what the HP gain was?
Turbo TC: I'm pretty sure the first pic is the header and the second 2 are the Greddy turbo. My question is, does the turbo replace the header? For example, if I were to get the header and a CAI, would I have to remove/replace both of them for the turbo? Doesen't the turbo use it's own header and intake?

So the question is, would it make sense to spend a few hundred $ on the headers and a CAI for now, and then try to get rid of them on ebay if you plan on getting a turbo when they become available?

i talked to scion using there 1866 # and the guy wouldnt listen to me he kept telling me that i cant replace the head with out voiding the warrenty he wouldnt listen when i told him a header so i just gave up with them but can any one from mcgeorgeparts let me know how this would effect the warrenty that would be great thanks
The header will void your warranty however it will be very hard to prove that the header caused the tranny or engine to have any problems so i dont believe the dealership will give you any issues with it.
If they do there are laws protecting you and as long as the header actually didnt cause any of the problems you will be covered.
Also check out over 60 new pictures from SEMA, all tc of course.
