Default shave my rear emblem

ok so here is my plan. i wanna take the back emblem part completeley off. i mean the only part that the emblem is on. its kinda trapezoid looking. but anyways i wanna take that parr off and sand paper the whole thing. bondo the indentation, and shave it smooth then paint it black, clear coat. then put it back on my car. guess my question is if that part of the rear is removable. please ask if i wasnt clear on what this part is. thanks. also please put some input thanks

Getting the emblem off is easy and leaves no mark on the car if done right. Read this thread for a detailed instruction:

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=20747

And post some pictures when its done. Also make sure you get some good double stick from a dealer or a bodyshop when you put it back on so you don't lose your work. Almost everything on the consumer side is crap!

I kind of like the scion emblem. I say only remove it if you feel it's going to be stolen with possible damage to your paint.
