My shifter **** the top piece is turned to the left a little, instead of being angled straight ahead it is angled to the left like 15 degrees. Does this matter? Does this affect my transmission? Or is the **** just something screwed on and separate from the transmission?

 

use a wrench and screw it back..... :twisted:

actually, i guess you don't need to worry about that.

 

It's separate from the transmission, just turn it to the right a little...you can totally unscrew it and screw it back in... It's just a ****
