Default short shifters... do I want it?

I searched and found this link to another thread

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...=short+shifter

I wanted to know if it would really be worth it for me to change to a short shifter. A good friend of mine has a short shifter in his Accord and it feels nice, but how is it in the tC?? Do I want to make the switch??

Thanks

I have TWM Performance. I started with the Stage I (I was chicken to go all the way), but now I have the Stage II, and LOVE IT, I would never go back to a long throw shifter. I use their weighted shift **** too. Here's how it looks in my car:

the only draw back to a shirt shifter is the increased effort so a weighted **** like what tc4fun4me has would be a good idea. I guess it's rare that ppl dont like the short shifters especially at the price, but it's tough comparing it to a Honda b/c they naturally have a better shifting feel and reaction.

I have a TWM in my Mazda. It's a cheap mod that, for many people, greatly improves the driving experience. Pretty easy to install yourself. If you think you might want it, you want it.
