Should I go back to stock before selling it
My wife and I have the need to get a bigger car, we're thinking about an XB, and I need to sell the TC before I can do so.
The car is currently dropped less than 2 inches. I have Hotchkins springs and Tokico shocks.
My question is should I return it to the stock height or will it no make much of a difference when it comes time to sell it?
Here is a picture of the car. It's not super low, but it may be a negative for some people.

If you keep the add-ons just don't expect to get more money for the car. If your trying to get the most bang for your bucks remove the add-ons and sell them individually (as long as you still have the stock parts).
Go back to stock, it will get more looks from more people. As it is now it'll only be fewer people that would be interested as is. Any add-ons you take off will help recoup any money lost(if any) in the sale. Good luck.
That's why I still have my stock suspension sitting in the garage - Although I really have no intention to ever resell my baby.
I'd say try and sell it as is and see what kind of offers you can get. If you don't see what you're looking for try to find the stock parts and switch them out.

The dealer won't even notice the drop. It will 99% likely be over looked by your salesmen. And when I traded my old tC my salesmen gave me "upgraded wheels" or something on the trade-in invoice so I got an extra couple hundo from them.
If you want to get a little extra for the wheels, take them off or trade for stock + a little bit of cash. But as far as the drop... don't even sweat it. The dealer will care more about exhaust/engine than your barely noticeably lower stance.
My old trade in also had s-tech's and they were VERY settled, almost tucking tread. And it didn't take away from my value - the car sold in less than a month.
Figured i'd share my experience, and save you the hassle of having to mess with the suspension. Good day!

I found and bought an XB this past week and also was able to sell the TC yesterday.
I sold it lowered with the wheels. It would have been a hassle to go back to the OEM parts because I didn't have any of them.
Everything turned out well.

I say return the car back to original if your not lazy. If your lazy then leave it be because most dealerships won't notice it. But then again there is that small chance that some dealerships do care and will check and will give you less in the trade in. Your call, do the right thing or take the risk.
I would first try to sell it as is and if that doesn't work, find stock parts and bring it back to stock. You will receive more money for your trade in if it is stock. I had to bring my 350Z back to stock because the buyer who ended up buying it did not want any of the aftermarket parts.
