They said the engine was made by AMG and was front/rear. The normal Crossfires are fwd with just a MB 3.2. Then again they said it had 0-60 times of over 7 seconds. But yeah, either way they hated it .

I like them but the first thing I would change is the them grill. I would put an Aston Martin look grill and a dif hood.

 

When there's the RX-8, S2K, 350Z, and Solstice/Sky, I don't see why you would want a Crossfire.

 

for that much I'd rather get an S2000, way cheaper and mod friendly

Not a real fan of the Crossfire either. If you can deal with the idea of RWD get something with some real *****. Such as:



You can pick up a low mileage 2004 for pretty cheap. There are even some 2005's for under $20,000.

The GTO is no dog taking a crap or anything... but what a retro FAIL design. I just don't like it. Can't argue with the 5.7L though.

 

haha! i worked at a toys r' us for a little while to make some extra cash and they had about a dozen of these sitting waaaay up on the top storage shelf. I wanted to steal one cause i haven't seen any you can buy. I used to have one.... idk what happened to it.

you should consider first a s2k, 350z or a is300. they are cheap if you know where to look for them. I am planning on trading my xb for a is300. and for my luck I just find out some is300 come with lsd from the factory.

 

Get a 3000gt or 350z. Not a big fan of mercedes or chrysler. Numbers are impressive but Im sure you would enjoy a 3000gt vr4 awd twin turbo or a 350z more then a crossfire.

 

its an awesome car but the name should not have been the GTO. They shoulda named it like the Grand Prix Xtreme. GPX

 

The GTO is fastttttt tho, my friend tried to race it with is mustang gt and couldnt even catch up to it or see where it went.

 

Ok first off the Crossfire and the SRT-6 are totally different. The Crossfire Premium is a dog. Second I dont what a Honda so that rules out the S2K. 3000gt?!?! They are just as expensive to fix as a MB! Plus they havent made those for like 10 years. I wouldnt go from an 07' TC to that. Now the GTO I already was looking at one of those. I had a post awhile back about it and people were iffy about it. They are sweet and I would much rather have the 04' LS1 than the LS2 only because there are much more aftermarket parts for them and they are cheaper to build. I test drove one and it was nice but I guess I just lost interest. Maybe you guys put a spark back in it.

I definitely agree. And that's kind of why I see it as a giant FAILgoat. Would have been a great performance car on its own, but just not as a GTO.

 

hey that engine is nice and those numbers are sweet but overall not a big fan plus that more of a rich older ladie car to me. But hey if you like ti go for it. Its not badly priced but resail aint gonna be to great if you change your mind again. but i would go for somethign with a better aftermarket like the Z or the S2K if ya can find one around that price. Also the GTO's are a beast and look like they would be fun to drive. I have seen some on the road and they really go.

 

I still say Z.
