i used to have a DA with jdm headlights and engine badge lol. then i moved on to a S13 with a JDM silvia front, JDM SR20DET (black top), JDM Nismo 2 way LSD, and some other little JDM knick-knacks. I had just gotten some JDM 180SX front seats and JDM 180SX kouki taillights, but I sold the car (and parts) before I could install them.
just before I sold it.

i got rid of it because:
-too unreliable
-too many little things to repair (become a money pit for all the wrong reasons)
-attracted attention from thieves
-attracted attention from cops -> potential impound for illegal motor swap (damn Cali emissions laws)

sometimes i think about getting a S14

what parts are needed for a 5 lug swap on a dc2/ek/eg? are the parts off a 5 lug civic or integra type r? or can you use parts from other 5 lug hondas?

I thought about doing a 5 lug swap on my old S13, but i need the control and A arms off a S14 SE to work which is hard to find.

i do agree with your point that many (not all so dont flame me people) tC owners are on their first car and dont have any significant technical experience.

 

yea but im not goin to throw the scion motor back in....integra type r 5 lugs on a ek in the rear and rsx in the front
