Default Show n shine at exposed

How much work do you think you should have done to enter your tc into the show n shine contest at exposed daytona? never been to any show like this, will there be different classes of the contest, like stock, street etc. I'm thinking of entering but just want to know what i'll be up against.
see ya in daytona

Spotless. If you can reach the part with your hand, it should be clean. Springs, wheel wells, no swirl marks in your paint, no specks of dust in the interior, engine bay should shine, etc...

Lowering springs and tint aren't going to get it done at a major event. Find out if there are classes. Like a tC mild, tC wild, etc...

I used to enter my Celica in shows even though it was pretty basic (though eventually it got to more of a "wild" status). You get to meet people and talk about cars. For me, it was all about having fun with my friends and meeting new people, not necessarily winning or losing. That's why I did it.

You need to ask yourself what you're in it for? If you just want to have fun, network with other owners, get tips and ideas, then I say enter, even though your car is, for the most part, stock (yes, it is). Who knows? A judge could have a bias for mild, clean looking cars and you could place.

yeah, i want to enter for fun , just thinking at this point in the tc's life there might not be too many cars super hooked up, i just didn't wan't to be the only idiot to enter with all my parts being main stream and basically a stock car.
