Default Side Mirrors fold in?

Hey All-

Have my tC on order...I live in the city with parallel parking. And side mirrors get knocked on a daily occurrence.
Do the mirrors fold in, where you can push them inward towards the car? Usually this is a manual thing. (hope i explained that right)
On the drivers side and passengers side?

Thanks!

Both side mirrors do NOT fold in.

My friend has an Integra and when he parks his car, and shuts it off, the side mirrors fold automatically... it's pretty cool.... so yeah.. it's possible

Yeah he must have the JDM Honda Integra mirrors, they come like that stock in Japan because parking is so tight.

We're talking about the tC. On the tC the mirrors are fixed. They don't fold automatically, manually, nor if you hit them with a baseball bat.

I though I read somewhere that they folded in. I was saddened to learn that they did not when I got my car.

Yeah - I sold my 98 integra when I got my tC. The mirrors on it would fold, but not automatically. It was a pretty nice feature, but they only folded one way - I still ripped one off while in reverse.

I was sorry to see the tC mirrors don't fold - just be careful out there.

The fold in is one feature I don't understand why it wasn't part of the tC as most cars do have the fold in. Even my 99 Corolla has the fold in.

Very minor issue (unless you get one torn off ) but would have been nice to have.

It really doesn't make sense, especially since lots of old Toyotas did it, unless it somehow complicated having a power mirror and having those little light blinkers in the mirrors.

Yeah i was wondering how much more expensive our side mirrors will be to replace because of the blinker etc. SOMEONE out there has had to have taken one out by now... any ideas?

Any dealers online? I figure that someone on here must know. But I doubt the light added much - in real dollars, it can't add more than 10 or 20 bucks.
Electric mirrors for my Integra were an load without the light.

Somebody did demolish one, I recall. I think replacement cost was $250+.
