Default sigh...my pooor little tC....

SIGH... im so freakin mad..

SO here goes my story...so im working late and im supposed to get off at Midnight...but decided to make some extra money since I work in sales and I stayed until 1:30 in the morning..I leave work in my little tC and im driving along minding my own business..windows all the way down and the radio is blasting..and somehow my eyelids just drop as if they weighed a ton each...sigh...so I suddenly wake up and notice that a construction cone was in the way and I tried to swerve out of the way...when suddenly a curb was waiting for me on the other side...sigh...this is where my tire and rim slam into the curb and my entire passenger front tire is like bent inward. As Im driving I notice that my alignment of course is off but its always driving like the rim was bent.....

So I get home and the rim is fine with of course a large amount of 'curb rash' and so is the tire..but as I look under the car to look at the suspension and things of that sort. I noticed that the "control arm" & "ball joint" both bent....replaced them with my fathers mechanic..which only cost me $120...

control arm = $145
Ball joint = $45
[***This was with a special discount that I had thru my uncle at toyota!! =)]

so we changed all of that and took it to the dealer to get the alignment done...and they came to the conclusion that they couldnt quite finish the alignment because..

"Something is slightly bent, but we would have to put it up on the RACK and figure what is exactly wrong here."

This is what the dealer told me...anyone have any idea....sigh...ever since that day my car has never driven the same....its still slightly bent inward even thought I replace those parts...anyone have any ideas?????....anything I can do??...anywhere else I could go to that may have a RACK that measures all the parts and their positions that they are supposed to be in??...maybe a bodyshop??

Any HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.......I just want my little tC to be fixed man....sigh....

HELP GUYS PLEASE!!!....

That seriously could have been A LOT worse. I would know, the same thing happened to me.

From this-

To this-

You were very lucky in that situation. When I fell asleep, I ended up flipping 4 times and getting airlifted to a trauma center.

most good body shop's have a frame bench depending on how hard you hit your front sub frame may need to be replaced

sorry bout wat happened man.. i feel ur pain, yea i sometimes snooze on the wheel but the little 'buttons' (as i like to call em) always wake me up wen my eyes start to close... dats y i always bring sumthin to chew on, wakes me up....

but bout the car problem, there could that there's a lot of bent parts in there, like probably the steering arm/knuckle, or maybe more wrose the frame is bent... coz wen u align and sumthin is awfully off, techs go to a comprehensive diagnostics, they start lookin a teverything... yea but i would think a bent steering arm, or maybe a bent frame too, lets just hope the that ur rack and pinion didnt get damaged...

Did they check to see if the rim was slightly bent? I had a rim on my last car get bet bent by a pothole in Boston. That can realy screw things up and sometimes its hard to tell that its the rim.
