Skyless's build thread thingy
Since I see a few build threads I figured ill throw mine up on here too!
ALL WORK was done by me..
I bought the car winter of Jan. 08, looked like this May 08
After one month I picked up an intake, TRD lowering springs, megan drift spec exhaust and painted the brake calipers... oh and some amazing stickers! lol!

Next came the all important make or break tint

soon after that came my first set of rims, 722's

few months then VRD Grilles and shorty antenna

After that it was put into storage for the winter, over the winter a few minor things were done ;)

Bought a Compturbo 50 trim .48a/r turbo, bought a Dezod manifold.
AEM fic 550cc DW injectors and all that fun stuff to go with..
custom little bracket for the vacuum block, had a perfect location on the firewall!

a real gauge pod.. LOL
tune on 8psi Bumped it up to 9psi a few weeks later
4/17-7/25? Completely hacked the exhaust

current state of the car
going to be able to free up alot of room when I switch to the blow-thru setup and I am able to get rid of that intake pipe and filter
after a few months of heavy abuse and tons of backfiring my manifold was about shot
layout of new fuel system getting installed this winter
relocation spot for BOV with new blow-thru setup coming this winter.. ditching the draw-thur
some new things for 010, the fuel rail im going to use and a nice 10lb spring
need to get my valves cleaned..

A few things came in today..
My regulator came and I decided to start think about where to mount it.. I think im deciding on either mounting it using the bolts that hold the fuel rail on or just having it welded on and use aluminum.
For the bracket Im just going to do something simple.. something like this.
I might decide to mount this on the firewall along with the vac block and just make a new bigger bracket there. didnt decide on what im going to do.. its going to be quite heavy in the end so I might go with the firewall mount
Pipe that im going to weld in in place of the straight section on my intercooler pipe to get rid of the old flange. Along with the fuel pump Walbro 255lph
Looked at where I could put my return, I think im just going to cut the metal support plate here and then throw the bulkhead in the plastic for the fuel pump.. if the holder has a open spot there.

A few more goodies... not impressed with jegs.. I was missing 2 of the items I ordered and the gauge came broken.. :/

Picked up and made a few things over the past few weeks, and jegs was quick to send me a brand new gauge, thumbs up to them.
Exhaust manifold had them lay some pretty thick welds to hopefully hold it together for another year.
My hot side pipe right before the TB, much better way to do the BOV flange instead of just sink it in. Decided to just cut out that chunk and weld a new straight section in to cut down turbulence before the maf. Looks pretty promising

Made a new bracket to extend it enough to fit the fuel regulator on it along with my vacuum block and boost sensor.

Put almost everything back together today and started it to see how the blow-thru setup was going to work! couldn't be any better! Need to work on the fuel system whenever I get the chance and change a few other things around.. not too much left for this winter.

Painted the charge pipe and intercooler! I think its going to look sick!

Started putting it back together again, after looking at the engine bay I think I am going to paint my valve cover the same color as the charge pipe..

Got in a few new things, coilovers a second set of tails and 3rd brake light to vht, and a scangauge

I was able to get the hood and bumper painted and my tail lights tinted this busy weekend... 2 coats of vht on the tails and 3 on the 3rd brake light. not bad for not touching a spray gun or doing any body work for 2 years.. like riding a bike. Filled in the front plate holes fixed a small dent in the hood and got rid of all those damn rockchips.
