Default So picked up Xmod Scion tc remote control car today :D PICS!

Dude, I went to radio shack and a crap load of their xmod toys are half off, I freaked and picked up the scion tc,

after two sore thumbs from a tiny screw driver, im finished building.

took some pics along the way... these things dont look like theyre built too well, :/, I returned my first set because it just wasnt responding to the remote, the second time around worked

is that a scion tc I see? oh yea!

cant forget the lowering springs, sway bar and struts.(pictured) also picked up the underglow kit and headlight/tail lights

everything on the chasis is independant.. even the side skirts and mirrors. Tempted in painting a carbonfiber hood... nah..

installing slotted big brake set

installing the upgraded suspension, soft springs in the front, hard springs in the rear

medium level sway bar

front lights installed

rear lights installed

underglow kit installed

OOOH YEA!! SO HOT!

next I'll probably pick up the 5zigen wheels and sports tread tires :O

Maybe I'll pick up another one. My supra just died a few months ago. Radio Shack is throwing a very good deal. 3 free accessories when you buy a kit.

nah only saw silver, the radioshack guy told me there is also a blue body kit sold seperately.

I think you can also pick up ground effects kit for it also.

the tires it comes with are bald slick tires, so when I was playing with it outside today it was drifiting all over the place.

the actual tire upgrade does make a difference I suppose, probably going to pick those up tomorrow.

that's what they told and there was a sign up there too. Maybe it depends on the location.

I have some duplicolor metalic black spray paint and clear coat spray, but i dont think itll look very good with the black windows.

So i dont really want to paint mine black, or itd look too plain.

the car kit was $25
and the little accesories were $4-$10

I think the underlight kit was the most expensive.

yeah i picked up mine a while ago, and then i had a mall employee appreciation coupon for another 25 percent so i picked mine up for next to nothin with every accesory available.

put them all in, and now its collecting dust! :D

u have to get the stage 2 motor! its nuts!

and get rid of that "stock" screwdriver, i cant even count how many screws i stripped with that POS and then i switched to my own and it made everything soooooo much easier!

Like two months back I bought two these cars, and two more replacement bodies to paint, I got most of the accessories minus the light kit and underbody lights. Finding the body kit for the car was a pain to find and had to drive a good distance to get it. I might buy another one for the price now but that can be put towards another mod for the real thing .

Oh wow. I think I'm gona hop down to a radio shack and pick one up. I've always wanted one but didn't think they were worth the 40 bucks or what ever it was they were charging for them.

They were worth the 40 bucks back then. They're pretty fast and has a huge "aftermarket" support.
