I was IN LOVE with the Si wheels... Until I got them :-/

next season I wanna do a RSX Type S wheels

I see what your saying, Si wheels on a non Si is misleading..

That's why I'm sure nothing on my car doesn't say Si, and I went thru quite a bit of sandpaper to shave "SI" off the grille

my factory wheels look hideous

Hempstead, NY... School in Farmingdale, so I'm all over the island at all hours of the night! If u see me say hi!

Make sure u say your on here so I don't think your crazy though lol

quick question for you guys, I spoke to Rey, he says he wants Tein, I'm looking at HTechs, and they're pricy!

At my home (8thcivic) we have a for sale section, I remember reading your rules (lots of them) and it said commercial posts by sponsors only.... Do you guys have that?

I got Eibach springs for $170 and my struts were a bit more, but it seems your parts are a bit more exspensive

I don't mind spending money on MY car, but he won't break the bank for it, so I'm trying to bargain hunt for him..

hence the the code red plate

lol yeah ever since i was young my mom wanted to get a red car, funny thing they only had red and disgusting "champagne" when i went to buy the car... to my defense not many people have my color car and modify it... on 8thcivic theres like 10 people with my color, and only like 4 of them have anything besides tints

Idk much about vvti but my inner Japanese boy is telling me it's still variable valve timing, right?

So I'd assume they do similar things.. Maybe vvti isn't dohc like the Si's?

U can still have sohc vtec (my car) just isn't very aggressive, ja? Lol

In Honda's defense, at least you can program VTec w/ a piggyback like eManage and AEM F/IC.

Compare VVTL-i to VTEC and then we'll have an argument lol.

vvti can be compared more to i-vtec's, and vvtl-i to vtec.

If anyone is curious to figure out what VTEC, VVT, VVTi, VVTLi, and iVTEC mean this is a nice resource, and will hopefully put things in perspective.

http://www.billzilla.org/vvtvtec.htm

The short is VVT adjusts cam timing whereas VTEC changes lift duration. VVTLi does both, not sure about iVTEC.

Is the tC dual VVTi? I know the xB with the 1NZ-FE is DOHC but only the intake side has VVTi.
