Default so, waxed the car today..time for some pics

picked up some platinum ultra gloss turtle wax, two coats and 3 coats on the hood.

took some pics!

enjoy

EDIT: I suppose I should post some day time outside pics of the hood also, wax fills in fine scratches quite nicely, not perfect but very nice.

Nice, but from the reviews I've read, it only last for about 2 weeks in the winter and 3 weeks in the summer if it rains on an average basis.

I read autopia reviews and it scored well. lasting gloss seems short, but I dont wash my car much, believe it or not I havent washed my car in over a month in those pics.

I just use a duster and a quick detailer to remove the bird poop.

the thing is sometimes ill see bird poop on the surface of the car and it doesnt adhere to the surface, I get a duster and it brushes it off lol.

I actually didnt clean the wheels for the pics. they werent that dirty to begin with

when they do get dirty, I just use a damp micro fiber and wipe them down. I use armorall tire shine for the tires.

same here, I must have layers of detailer/wax caked on. I try to refrain from car washing with soap and water, IMO regardless of any car soap used, it will always strip away some of the luster from the wax.

right now all I use is meguiars quick detailer, quick wax and cali duster to keep the car clean.

I dust the car at least once in the morning and once at night, it really helps prevent the dirt mixing with the night condensation and morning dew. The surface of the car is so slick now from all the detailing stuff I use on it, its hard for liquid to stick to it normally lol. When I use the spray wax some of it just beads and slides off the side of the car.
