Default So what to do to you tC when your FIRED!

Ok so the way the economy is going, I am feeling the effects I just got fired yesterday. I have some interviews lined up already. But Who know if those thing will work out. So as of yesterday I have a lot of free time. so now i have time to do a few mods and minor fixes that the tc has been waiting for.

1 she needs a really good interior cleaning. vacuum a complete detail. (i have all the supplies needed since I have detailed the inside of my tC since the summer. )

2. I can replace my front struts I have had them sitting in my trunk for a while now. and the damn pop when i go over a bump has been driving me crazy.

3 i can finish my 3rd brake light. since I won't be to tired after work .

4 I can finish up the trunk lip spoiler i designed last year.

5 I can now finish the diversion panel i have sitting in my trunk.

6. I can also install the slotted brake disk I have had sitting in my closet for the last year and half.

7. I can go for a really nice tuesday after noon drive with my girl to any random place with out having to worry about geting up for work in the morning.

What would you do if you where in my shoes ?

"Fired" from work? or laid off....getting fired has nothing to do with a bad economy, it has to do with work performance...

On the other hand, seems like you have a lot of projects to finish, good luck with that. maybe youll find yourself bored enough to do them all in 1 day one after another hahah

no, it can be from the economy. business are struggling to make ends meet so the only alternative is to let people go. do you not watch CNN or MSNBC?

i dont think a manager or whatever would fire someone because they cant pay your salary...but when people say "letting someone go" it usually means laid off... and actually i dont watch CNN or MSNBC...or any other major news network for the matter. >_>

i got fired in sept, but since i was employed there for over 3 years and i truthfully listed why i was fired, i was approved to recieve unemployment benefits.

after two weeks, file for unemployment and keep up on it. my case is still pending but when i finally get my money (if i had no debts) ill be out of all my debts. you will get bored and depressed pretty quickly if you stay at home all the time, so while your looking for a job, go volunteer somewhere or find odd jobs around for extra pocket cash.

Stand at the bottom of a freeway off-ramp. I had a friend pull in $36 once in 20 minutes while he was waiting for me to pick him up. He gave me $20 of it for gas.

Mac join the club! The pleasure of working for AIG got me laid off. It does suck but hell I have soooo much more time to run and lift now. But yeah you'll find something bro just try not to let it get you stressed or down and def file for unemployment.

Sorry to hear that. If I didn't have to worry about getting up for work, I'd sleep in, install all of the stuff you have waiting, and clean the crap out of my car. I hate winter.

My work is struggling, so they are firing people so they dont have to lay them off. Hopefully I stay out of trouble....

yea I was fired. well the manger didn't say fired. he told me I have to let you go. It wasn't for my work performance if it was that, they wouldn't have had as the only person in there that was still pulling overtime. but the reason was some stuff that needed to be sent back. it was sent back late dude it being sent to me late so someone had to take the blame for it. The manager told me it want 100 percent my fault but they owner had to do something to make up the 3500 $ he was getting charged back. and someone I worked with and covered for a more then once. through under the bus with the owner.

I guess you can collect unemployment benefits now. I'd relax for a few months BUT I wouldn't put any kind of money into a car at this time. Hold onto it for as long as you can!
