I guess the first question that comes to mind is, how do you all like the styling changes? And second question is, do you think that the body build quality is improving? I have an 05' and the rattles drive me crazy, are they improving at all? Thanks.

 

And yet another I hate the grill's, tails, headlights thread.

 

true...but the new lights, tails, and grilles give it a "new" look. no rattles yet, just got it today. ive adapted to them. not planning to change the lights...maybe the grilles...but not anytime soon.

 

I love everything about the lights. Much better than the 07, IMO. Dont like the grill as much as the 07, but, hey Im not complaining.

 

i personally do not like the 08 headlights or taillights or grilles.
thats why i chose the 07 over the 08 when buying my car last month.

 

I am not opposed to the changes. everything they did is nice, alot of options were made into standard equip which is very nice.
The only thing i would change, or revert, is the grill.
*knocking on wood* I've yet to have any "rattle" issues.

 

I like the new head lights. I dont think they're an improvement but they're alright. What I dont like are the new tail lights and the grill, but the grill is the worst part. And for the rattles, I have an 07 and I hardly hear any.

 

My '05 rattles like a bucket of rocks. They better be fixing something on newer models.

I've only seen three to date around here. I'm still the only one that's not bone stock.

 

i think the '06 model is the best, not feeling the changes they made. not to mention the cheaper s/c haha

 

I'm pretty sure they are not doing anything different to fix the rattles. Naturally an 05 will rattle more since most 05's have more miles than 07's, and more miles = more bumps and potholes which ='s more rattles.

 

i saw a black 08.. the rear tails do look played out like the old lexus rx300s but not as bad as i was expecting..

i could deal with it for all the added safety and ipodness

 

i saw an 08 tc the other day and thought"man that guy bougt some cheap ebay head lights" turns out it was really an 08.

They just dont do it for me.

I think the projectors in a 05-07 headlight would be great

 

I did too first time I saw one passing me on the road.

 

I hate the ricey changes. It sucks because I was looking to buy a new tC next spring, and now I am looking at getting a used, low mileage '06 or '07 SW instead of a new '08. I've tried to get use to the look of the headlights and taillights, but I just can't do it, I hate them! I'm not going to buy something that I'm not happy with, since after all, I will be the one seeing the car everyday, so no '08 for me!

 

They look good on a black or flint mica tC, i've come to the conclusion. The black taillights stick out far too much on the lighter colors.

 

the whole "being surrounded by airbags" are kinda freakin me out. my first car w/ airbags.

 

I personally am loving my 08...............been a long time since I had a car to play with...........great car.

 

Not a fan. perfer the older to newer.

 

Yeah I am dead set on SW and they definitely stick out against the white.
