Sad but true. Ive owned my TC for about a year now and felt like it was time to go. To get a decent turbo set up + garage costs it was going to cost too much. So instead of paying the money for a turbo and labor, I decided to just get a 2004 Nissan 350Z Touring. Nothing wrong with 300HP and Im sure you guys will agree with me. The funny thing is the 350Z gets the SAME GAS MILEAGE as my tC did.




Overall it was a great upgrade IMO. You cannot respect the 350Z enough.

 

uhh yeah, i would say it was a nice upgrade. And it's not an opinion, it's a fact. It's not like you went to a civic. Nice job and have fun with that thing.

 

I thought the Z was only getting 18 mpg? How's insurance for that thing?

 

No Im getting close to 24MPG with it.

Insurance is 128/mo with 500 deductable, 0 glass, and roadside assistance.

 

i hate the inside of the Z but the outside makes up for it i guess?

 

I dont know how you can hate the inside. I think its sexy as hell.

 

Ill stick to my Bugatti but that is just me.

I saw an early model Z06 trying to make it during a snowstorm a couple days ago. It was pretty entertaining. He was crawling along at MAYBE 10 mph and it looked as though any time he even TOUCHED the gas it would spin. He was making it though!

 

Suprisingly this thing handles better in the snow then the TC. However, in favor of the TC, I DID have the stock Bridgestones on it and the 350Z has some Pirelli snow tires.

 

This is funny because i love my tc but i have had it since sept 06 and i was looking at a 350z today..... i love those cars.... yours looks good!!!

 

If you don't mind my getting so personal, how much did you sell the tC for and how much did you get the Z for, with what kind of mileage?

I wouldn't call it a trend. I'd call it an upgrade! The Z series is legendary. The first successful Japanese sports car in America! OK USA!!!

 

I Got 14,100 on trade in on my 2005 TC with 36,000 on the odometer.

I paid 20,100 for the 350z with 22,000 on the odometer (bumper to bumper was increased to 48,000 by the last owner)
