sold the tc.
well we traded in the tc for a new car.
she was an 06 and had just uder 40000 miles on her and she was still wearing stock rubber had 5/32th tread left almost time for new..
she was a good car, at the dealer for 2 tbs (side air bags and wind deflector)
other than oil changes and tire rotation, nothing went wrong. got a high of 35 mpg and a low of 21( remost start on vacation 100+ days 5 min to let a/c cool the black car and having some fun) life time average of 29.6 mpg.
she had the hatch rattle like every other tc.
well we took off the tsx retro and slapped the stock headligts back in and they gave us 13.5k for her we owed 12k on her. would of been less but my wife rolled over her old car(00 coougar pos, back in 05) for a few thousand.
the tc had tyc tail, rear bumper applique, carbon fiber b piller things, ped. spoiler, tint, the ipod radio that changes color, hotchiks strut bar, trd exhaust, and the air bag seats , alarm w/ remote start. i think that was all.
still have stock tails and stock exhaust if anyone wants them for cheap.
what she got
2009 tacoma trd sport v6 auto. mag. grey 4x4
has tha upgraded radio, with rear sub (aka flux capastor, the blue dot has leds that glow with a turn of the switch haha) obx pedals, xm radio, and rest of the trd sport goodies. it is what she picked out. being a 09 it has the back up camera, and dark tinted headlights
all in all we got the 30,3xx dollar truck for 28k out the door( included tax title lic ect.)
little step up fromt the 19k tc
so whatcha think?

Nice choice on the truck.
Buy a 2+2. the rear end can hold a little more power and the length of the car will give better traction. The catch is you have to do an engine swap for the TT. But the upside to doing that is that you can upgrade turbo's instantly. Just a heads up.

they called me back and i explained to them how my car on NADA.com , has my car listed at 12,200 for the average trade in, and that they are really going to have to impress me now to get my business... they offered me 27000 for a new 350z, but when the apraised my car, they said hey we will give you the z for 24,000, and give you 9000 for your trade in, so with the discounts we gave you, pretty much were giving you 13,400 for your trade in... i said no, your giving me 9000 for my car, and giving me a 24,000 dollar car that i will have to pay a grand or two in taxes and then also 3800 ( i owe 12,800 on my scion still) in negative equity... im not stupid, my car has a retail value of 15,000 and they will list it as around that once they get it... so i left, and i have to go back thursday, but im going to look around tomorrow at other places to see what they will offer

what was the sticker price on the z?
i thought they started at 28?
u only pay taxes on the difference.
ok
27kfor z
12.5k for tc
= 14.5k difference.
24k z
9k for tc
= 15k difference.
looks like there coming off the sticker 3k to make up for the 3 k u owe
but my lowest offer was 12k
dont go in looking at a car/truck walkin and tell them u are THINKING u want something new but not sure. and first u want to see what u can get for your car. get that price in writing first. they tell them what u want and see if they can work the price.
but dont expect them to come off 3-4 k off the price with out rebates.
i almost bought a tundra ttahat would of bee almost 2k cheaper them the tacoma but didnt have half of the options (the wife couldnt drive it so no go.)
