some stupid guy stole my oem antenna! And i just got my FM Tc 4 days ago!!! AARGH!! He even stole one tire valve cap (the plastic one)! I have a strong susspision that the Tc parked next to me did it ...(ps. i don't touch other people's babies...)

...so people, please...if you want to "congratulate" (or baptize) a newcar----send me a card, or don't!.....

sigh...anybody out there who has an extra one? or what replacement out there is a good one? FORTUNATELY, i still have my Sirius....(the fool probably thought i wouldn't be able to listen to the radio for awhile)....i guess Karma will get him soon

 

most people i think are going with an S2000 antenna or something like that. I am going to change my oem one for an s2000 one, they look better imo.

 

who the heck steals black plastic valve caps?!? I work at Goodyear so I go through a couple hand fulls of those every day.

 

^^ and make sure to use loctite or some threadlocker of some sort for that

however stealing an oem antenna is stupid... as well as a cap.... yeah.. man... that's LA for ya....

 

i am waiting for someone to steal my stock antenna so i can get an element or rx330.

 

you can have my stock antenna, i threw up the tire compartment. no one can jack it now haha!!! i don't listen to the radio hence, i took that damn thing off

 

i have a stock xa antenna. pay shipping and it's yours. it should fit right?

 

i've had an assortment of rx330, s2000, and element antenna's stolen off of my car. to date, i've got through 4. this is my 5th currently.

well usually some people would find it amusing to "baptize" a new car by a simple act of vandalism....but jeez, c'mon! One of my plastic tire valve caps too?! Sigh. My only consolation is it could have been worse. I certainly didn't ____ anyone off before i left my car this morning... I had to circle around my car twice to check for damages...thank God nothing else! No scratches.

We all love our cars (esp. if it's our Tc) right guys? We don't touch another guy's car, and we certainly don't want people touching ours.

Even though my tC is over 2 yrs old I still do a once-over when I leave work. just to make sure no haters have done anything to her. So far, I have been lucky! Suck$ about your antenna but it could have been worse. They could have keyed it.

 

i got mine jacked 3 time and gave up with the aftermarket antenna so i went to da dealer to buy the oem and found out its about 50 bucks!!

 

no body is gonna jack my antenna ever

jurassic1, I was going to say what has already been said a few times "who the heck who steal the black plastic tire caps?" I just don't understand that.

I think I have mine lying around somewhere if you want them for free I'll mail them. Luckily all the caps I've gone through (different colors) have reminaing long enough to start fading so that I need to get new ones. By the way, what does the antenna look like on the tc? On my box it's built in to the window. Hope you have less big dummies in the future around your car.
