I can attest to the fact that judges don't award points based on the length of your mod list. I have been passed over by vehicles that only had a sub box, VHT heads / tails, interior pait accents and I/H/E. They were well done and made for a very clean, coherant look. I have a two-tone paint job, rims, a supercharger, bamboo flooring, and a host of other mods, but because I'm still putting the "look" together it still lacks coherance and thus I'm getting passed over. Once my sub and amp rack go from carpet to glass, I'm sure the interior will come together much better.
As for what counts as a mod, my personal taste is anything that isn't branded Scion as an accessory. I don't count the factory spoiler but I DO count the TRD CAI. Hopefully by the time I'm done the only thing left stock will be the rear quarterpanel.

I remember seeing "seatbelts" listed in someone's sig here a while ago. Obviously a play off this same subject, but some people list all sorts of odd things. My tC is stock with a few factory options, but nothing worth listing in my sig.

Are we talking about 'profiles' or 'sigs' here?
Why do we even have 'profiles' when some peeps here list their "mods" in their 'sig'?
I find that annoying. Just like you find it annoying when we list OBX Sport Pedals Covers as "mods".
We are all in the same boat of annoyance.
We just have to deal and move on.

Anything that you've done to your car and are proud of (IMO) should be considered a mod. If you install and crappy aftermarket dual brand cd player that was on sale at walmart, but you put your hands in your dash and wired it up. You can brag about it.
In our community doing it yourself is something we all do. In the world many people dont even know how to change their own oil, heck, some dont know where the gas goes in and drive until their car stops. (celebs)

I think it depends on your style and how much your car is modified.
If you are ust starting out or only have a bunch of small mods. Listing everything will show you are atleast trying.
But once you have it all, I think its funny when people try to make it look like they have more by listing the most mundane things.
Example, my car.
Before I had alot done, yes if someone asked what I had done, I would say wheels, exhuast, spoiler, pedals, shifter, stereo, supercharger...etc.
But now that I pretty much have everything done that can be done, I only mention the major things. If they want to look more into it, they can.
So now when people ask, my list is short:
Wheels, bodykit, custom paint, supercharger, racing seats, system.
But yes, I wont point out names, but its funny when people list 50 things, hen you look at the car and realize other than wheels, it looks pretty stock. (but you do have to start somewhere, not many people have time or money to do it all in a month.) (my car is 2 years in the works.)

Mod is short for modification. A modification is a change from somethings original state. Anything you add or remove is a modification from how your car originally was when you got it.
