Spark Plugs
This has been discussed in some length before, but just a quick bit of research tells me that the gap is NOT adjustable and a copper core with a nickel plating. I've thought about trying them just to try them, but ulitimately decided not to. Personally I think with the advancement of the electrode materials, Toyota already has the best plug for our application. Unless you've made any engine modifications requiring a different plug....I'd stick with the original.
That being said I pulled my plugs at just over 100k and compared them to some brand new NGK replacements that I ordered a while back, and the difference was minimal...I put the original plugs back in...at 116k now and it still runs like day one.
But don't let my experience be an example of any kind of fact...just sharing my opinion. Give it a try and let us know.
