But in the end what he got was.. Shifter ****, rear lip spoiler, leather seats with tC etched in, the billet grill, ground kit (i think) and some other little things I believe.

Yeah 4k MAY be alot.. not sure how much leather seats would be.. but reason why he bought it was on impulse, He was excited.. and the tC that "HE ORDERED" wasnt in. So he took this.

So say congrats, and welcome to the scion family and leave it at that.

I am alittle jealous. cuz he scion is different then most of the ones on the road.

I'm not jealous at all, but thats cuz I don't like leather, and I really like black ...plus I like saving money , and I don't particularly care for options, this car already has to many options, I wish I could get rid of some of this power ____, and really use the power are car has to offer, rather then it being weighed down. I only drive manual, (unless its at work, then I drive whatever, I work at Ford in the Body Shop). And pinstripes suck, I was stuck with pinstripes on my old car forever, simply because of the fact I knew they were a $50 dollar accessory.

Congrats on the car! I personally don't like the stripe on the side....looks like someone keyed it... But I do like the grill and the way it looks on the best color in the world->Flint Mica!!!

to answer your question it would be about $1000 to do it aftermarket, that means they can do it for alot less.

As far as a SE, thats a joke, the only thing different is a billet grill and leather seats, I also agree with everyone that the seats don't look that good in the picture, but if they are ok in person i'll give you that.

$4000 is alot for that when the two RS 1.0s were that put together

and the system he is putting in isn't awesome, its alright but a waste of money.

he didn't even get the color/tranny he wanted and spent $20000 instead of 16k for what he wanted

 

The car looks aight. Its not really a special edition though and yeah get rid of that stripe. The car look hot though. Congrats. Post some more pics of the inside and make sure you clean ther leather because it looks like the headrest is DIRTY. Take it easy. and congrats again. (Thanks Will for posting the pics. The only thing that bugs me about this car is the embroidery of the headrest!

This on the headrest would have been pretty cool!

Nice ride bro... but I mean... 4 grand for that? HA! sorry, but I just bought an xA RS 1.0 in August and picked it up on Monday... and I just paid $2200 over the original price for the package. What did I get? Rims, the red paint, a spoiler, a grille, red and black colored seats (which are not leather but they are very nice looking). What did you get? An uggggly stripe, a leather appointed interior with headrests that don't even LOOK like they are "real", and by "real" I mean they look like someone stitched them for you, even though that is not the case. Sorry, but you paid too much for just a bunch of random stuff.

Congrats anyway though, a Scion is a Scion.... and a Scion is a hella awesome car, nomatter how ripped off you got

 

Well, I'll work on getting better pictures during the day...

The leather really is comfertable and well made...the stitching does look better in person, just a bad picture...

I haven't gotten it lowered yet because.......I bought it YESTERDAY...

I have a Viper Alarm system getting installed with the bass system this Sunday...
I'll post pics, and videos of that...(Remote ignition is being installed as well)

I believe a bit of misconstrueity was involved on this thread...

I "may" be removing the pinstripe...It depends...I've gotten all good comments on the car so far, biggest 2 being the rims (stock lol) and the accent stripe...so, I'm a little iffy on removing it...

It will be gone once I put on a custom paint job...that's after the widebody though (if)...

and...something as small as a shift **** will really change the way you enjoy your ride...I almost want to sit on mine...
