Default Speed Dent... It makes the car go faster... Not really...

So, in my great wisdom, I decided to let my sister take my car for the night... This is what I get back... and yes, that is snow on my car in the middle of March...

So... can anyone tell me how much this will cost to fix?

ouch...i have no idea. it would for sure be A LOT cheaper if the door wasnt touched and it was all the bumper/fender/wheel.

Snow wasn't bad... but it still shouldn't be snowing near the end of march... but snow had nothing to do with the accident, i was just ticked about it... Well here's the tale behind the mysterious speed dent (simpsons reference if you dont know). Apparently it was hit in the parking lot of some bar while my sister was inside... then she drove all the ways home without noticing the giant dent or the missing mirror and didnt notice them till she pulled the car into the garage and got out. So now I have a dented tC with no accident report. all in all.. tomorrow will be an interesting day.

Wow. That sucks dude. The worst part is going after a family member to pay for it. And why the hell would you let your sister take your car to the bar? Maybe the snow clouded your thinking. Don't forget to check the area where the door mounts to the car for damage, it looks like it was pulled a little bit.

That is why since I have owned my car, the only person to drive it besides me is the people in the service department at my dealership. I guess my dad drove it about 50 feet when a hailstorm was coming (he drove my car to the garage). But other than that, nobody drives my car.

Dont worry, it'll buff out . J/k, sorry to hear bout it man. BUt hey, my friend during spring break, let this girl drive his car to go home to pick up something, and she hit another car on the way back. The whole front bumper fell off, the steel frame in the front was bent and the hood was bent.

The way i see it... "If you don't help me pay my auto insurance... You can't drive my car... Sorry."

Next time she want to borrow the car tell her to hand over cash first... "No cash, No ride"

My sister just called me at work and that whole story she gave me yesterday was well... a lie... apparently she lost control in the massive amount of snow (sarcasm) and hit a "sign." Must have been a pretty big sign from the damage. Even better, my parents don't want to claim this on our insurance. So I get to repiece this together on an installment plan. New mirror today and go piece to piece from there. So can anyone tell me the price of the following.
-OEM Bumper
-Passenger Side Fender
-Passenger Door
-Passenger Side Skirt

Dont you mean SHE is looking at 2-3k??

She was in an accident, fled the scene, then lied to you. Family or not, I would go about it in a nice manner and make her pay for it.

Yeah I don't know how im going to pay for this. My sister and my bank accounts combined would only pay for half the damage. Of course I'm planning on her paying for all of it and paying me back for whatever I end up paying for. But by the looks of my current financial situations my car will look like this for a while.

How about getting your parents to cover this and then have your sister pay them back with normal monthly payments. Better than driving around with a beat up car. And this was totally your sisters fault...she SHOULD be paying for all of it.
