Default Sponsers

Ok....im new to this, so i dont really know anything about it. I was wondering if there are any companies out there, such as Kenwood, Pioneer, or some auto related company that will pay to have their sticker on my car? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm a college student so i need all the money i can get.

First off. You can't spell sponsor. I for one wouldn't sponsor you. Secondly, I would write, email, network my way to a rep. of those brands you mention. Lastly, it's freaking late BiiAtccchhh to be posting something of this nature...kids . . .

Lastly, they a sponsorship isnt a payment for advertisement.. at least to the degree you speak of.

Sponsorships are free/greatly reduced priced items the company gives someone in return for exposure, at car shows, etc.

first note... don't ask for sponsorships out blatently like that... it ____es everyone off. and yeah.. starting a new topic that pretty much says "SPONSOR ME! SPONSOR ME!" umm... that's what i see.

anyway.. i didn't mean to sound rude, but just wanted you to see what other people are probably going to think about your post and also to state that it would've been more appropriate to ask for help in what you needed to do, which is build a reputation. go to car shows, meets and meet people. companies need to know that you're able to advertise their products and thus give you a sponsorship. with that in mind. good luck!

You need to get yourself out there and be involved in the community and network. You're not going to get sponsored by posting a thread on an internet forum. It's about who you know and what you do. Keep in mind sponsorships do not equal free stuff. There is a lot more to it than you know.

You have to have something different done to your car and also participate a lot at car shows. Check with local companies first. Many of them will give a small discount if you by their products and represent on your car. As for Pioneer, Alpine etc. you would really need to stand out for that.

sponsors look for decent hooked up cars that has their product and will continue to buy more of their products. In return you must add their sticker on ur car. also go to car shows, and this is important... answer people questions about your car! about the sponsor, and the products. basically u have became a marketing person

gettin a sponsor isnt as simple as posting questions and help on forums.

you have to have connects, know the right type of people, have $$, have a good past with car modifing etc etc.

I never said it would be easy. And yes, i know i spelled sponsors wrong...it was late. You guys are the ones that were saying it was going to be easy. I guess i choose the wrong word. I dont really mean sponsors. I was actually wondering if any companies will pay you to have thier stickers advertised on your car? I know a few friends that do this, but they are all stupid/no name companies.

nope because people put on stickers for free...

example AEM CAI comes with an AEM sticker... you can stick it on or not, ur choice... most people stick them on

another one: At HIN, people throw out tons of cool looking stickers... people get them and stick them on their car for free once again

people who love products put stickers on their cars if they get it free which they usually can
