ok, so i own a tC and live in South Florida.... specifically the West Palm/ Boca area... what are steps that i would take in obtaining a sponsor, and firthermore, multiple sponsors.i have big plans for my car, and some money saved up to get things moving, but a little backing couldnt hurt. I attend car shows frequently. Is their anyone sponsored who could give me some advice

 

notariety-get your name out there...go to shows, go to local shops, go to the drag strip, and talk to people...take photos of your car now, and put together a packet with all your info, what you have done to the car now, what you plan to do to it and when, and what you can bring to a sponsor. Sponsors want to know you will use their parts and go to shows/races and promote the hell out of them. Use their decals, wear their shirts/hats ect...attend as many events as you can-try to get magazine coverage, and make sure you always represent yourself and your sponsor in a mature, friendly and respectable way. Sponsors dont want to be associated with illegal activities, or people that will act like an ___ with their name all over someone or their car. Meaning-no street racing, drinking and driving, no driving like a jerk, no poor sportsmanship at shows/races, no bad mouthing the sponsor or others, ect...You know what I mean. And most importantly...if you do get sponsorship-make sure you know exactly what they are expecting and looking to get from you...and keep to it. Also keep in regular contact with them to make sure they know you didnt flake.
