OK, enough about Jon's awesome seats... and more about me trying to get my own awesome seats!

I'm checking the local car show calendars and seeing what I may, may not be able to attend this summer. Figured adding those to the list can't hurt.

Would this bump you up in class? It could be considered as weight reduction...these seats are approx 11lbs lighter than the stock seats.

 

No, I believe racing seats are OK as long as they're not fixed position. I'll doublecheck, but I'm pretty sure they're OK.

 

Because if it bumps you up, you might as well pick up that LSD :D.

From what I've gathered (from a couple people) it's just a discount. But I suppose it's possible it could vary - but I don't expect free.

 

well discount isnt bad either but try lookign on ebay for sets aswell, thats how i helped jon find his for the crazy price he got them for. But if they do Supply it for free ask them for one of these aswell

It'll be a discount. The freebies won't come until you either go all out useless or start doing (and winning) the big events.

For the brackets, there is a shop in CT that sells them for only $80 each. Don't remember the name of the shop though, but I got them pretty quickly and they fit perfectly.

Ya, I'll keep that in mind depending on what I may or may not be offered.

But I think I have the final version posted up there. So my "folder" will include the cover page, the letter, the two pages of specs/events, a total of 10 pictures (2 per page, 5 pages), an updated copy of my "battle board" for car shows, and finally the two pages of their actual Application.

The pictures are almost all autox action shots... with two last ones as "beauty shots."

Sound good? Cause if it does, I'm going to go mail it today.
