Spring/Summer(best install?)
When does everyone( who lives in states that actually get snow or crappy weather) start throwing on body kits, rims, wheels, etc.
Is next week too early?
Is next week too early?
i live in new york, and ive had rims and tires, brand new, since 3 weeks ago. doesnt matter if its too early or all that. body kit, i would wait in case it snows. it snowed one day and i have chrome rims, and i didnt drive thru all that salt, but if it snows again, i might change wheels/tires.
ahh.i see,lol
My car is more or less stock right now
first bodykit,first rims/tires.getting it lowered.painted
figured id pay and have them put aside in the shop for me
*yawn*.i dont wanna wait anymore.this winter sucks @ss

Noob question.
What's with the salt..damages rims or body kits or something or...
I have my 04 toyota tacoma..in case it snows or whatnot.just wondering if the weather/salt would affect the rims or bodykit that much
thanks.

well salt will eat everything, but tends mostly to eat at the underbody of the car, the exhaust, and any place where you have a scatch on the car. metal and salt do not get alot well with each other!
oh.i see
so chrome rims+ salt =rims falling off and car flipping over?lol
j/k
they should really use somethingelse besides friggin tablesalt
or maybe i should just move out of this stupid state(region)

well concidering this f'ed up weather, i think it may snow again. i would wait a month or so yet.
yes the salt sucks, i believe now they are starting to use a liquid anti-icing agent on highways but still you car ends up covered
