I think there's an Ingall's 4pt brace for the doors too if I'm not mistaken. That should stiffen the doors right up. lol.

how would a person stiffen a door in the first place?

i'm on the same level to comment about a 4 pt brace like above..

along with the welding the door and jumping in dukes style..

how does a heavy door fly away from your hand? heh.. you'd have to let go...

thus the other comment.. and the very first reply..

You should just tell your friends to stop being stupid and hold the door and be careful. It is not that hard.

so a lighter door that'll be more susceptible to a gust of wind blowing it out of you or your stupid passenger's hands...

how is it going to get blown upward?

not afraid of hitting the car above me then. XD

the door looses momentum if it doesnt weigh a ton...

After they do it i also love the expression on there face and sometimes they shut the door again when i ask them "Is your door shut all the way?"

1) You apparently have never driven cars that actually had big heavy doors if you think these are big and heavy

2) Its a two door, thus will have longer doors so people can actually get in the back

3) We have power windows and safety re-enforced doors.. thus they weigh what they do.

4) Lighter doors DO have less inertia.. .meaning the wind will have MORE effect on blowing them into things, not less.

5) It is pretty much common sense for someone to actually hold onto the door handle when they open a door. I would say smarter (and obviously stronger) friends are in order
