its been about umm 2 months i say?...cuz i got my car at the end of october and i still havent got my lisence plate sent in....i got the certificate of automobile wutever that is.....it has info on when u sell ur car or whatever.....but i got that today but no lisence plate.....

how long did it take u guys to get ur plate??

I had the same issues with my plates. My temp tags even expired...don't worry. They will get to you eventually lol

haha also no plate = stupid stoplight camera can find your plate number so u go ticket free!! haha if u know wut im talkin about.....

 

I actually had to pick it up at my dealership. They said new DMV rules or something. Give them a call. They send me a postcard to pick it up after a month or two.

i actually checked on mine with the dealership and found out that they messed up my address. so I had them corrected it and received my plates after. Now am I suppose to just be getting my plates? Since i'm financing my car through Golden1 credit union, I know I shouldn't be receiving my title yet, but am I suppose to get something else?

same here, mine came on the tc in PA, i just had to wait for the registration sticker to come in.

 

Where I live, no plates = no personal property tax.

I hope my plates never come. :D

 

Damn, that really sucks for you guys. My plates were on the car the day I went to pick it up.

 

this might be off topic but is it illegal to cut the FRONT license plate so it will fit perfectly in the bottom grill? So that only the numbers are showing(I cut off the top part that says California).The back plate would not be touched.

 

I JUST GOT MY PLATE TODAY! its cool and beaturful....it has a number 8 in it hahah and thats my favorite number cuz my bday is on 8-8-88 and i was born on 7:48 wow!

 

it was like 3 weeks after my temp tags expired before i got my plates

 

got my plates in 4 days, talk bout quick service, but they had to use self tapping screws to put the plates into the bumper!!! oh the horror of it...aarrghhh!!

 

i got my personalized plate in about a month. if i went with a regular plate i would have had it the day i bought the car.
