Default Stolen tC?

Anyone know of any tC that's been stolen? I'm just curious as to how effective the anti-theft thing on this car is.

By the way, I have a "club" lock on my steering wheel and an "auto-lock" lock on my clutch pedal.

I have full coverage insurance with a $250 deductible, and GAP coverage as well, but I still hate the thought of my car getting stolen.

What do you guys have? No trunk monkey now!

i havent heard of any. I use a club too, mainly just to add more of an annoyance for any thieves.

ive only ever seen one tc stolen.... my old girlfriends... from outside her house... they ran it into a tree and left it...

um, although your club is only good for beating someone over the head with... all they have to do is cut the steering wheel and its off

anybody know what you call the lock that you put on the wheel (not steering)? It's similar to what the parking enforcers put on your wheel, but a more compact size.

Probably true, but I hook the club around 4 & 8 o'clock on the steering wheel where they'll have to cut the wheel in 4 places since it's hard to bend the wheel from those position.

Well, I don't know about Scion security... But the company is called "Karr Security Systems" and they do it through Scion. I believe they are the same one as Scion security because I got it at the dealer and the guy came to my house and installed it. The pamphlet says, "Autoomatic starter disable and fuel shutoff". Along with other standard features, like the beeping if the car has been tampered with during an unlock and the full alarm if someone's breaking in.

He programmed it straight into the main Key Remote. No obnoxious extra hanging chain.

Who in the holy hell steals cars nowadays anyways... It's like tryin' to rob a bank. The people who do it are too damn stupid to ever get away with it. I hate society.

Well in the central valley I think car thefts are like in the top 5 in the nation. Mostly hondas though...go figure. I opted for the lojack....got a great deal on it and figure hey I'll get my car back hopefully pretty fast so it gave me a peace of mind.

There was a RS1 in a police chase somewhere out West, but I'm not sure if it was stolen. I saw a video of the chase; maybe I can dig it out of the forums.

I've got an autolock on my clutch, and a viper add on alarm.
Full coverage on insurance as well...

Yeah, I did that until my remote battery died.

Panic alarm works even better.

Scion Security, and LoJack tracking unit. If my car moves without my keychain, I get a txt message on my phone. If its stolen, the cops can track the signal. Steal it, I dare ya.
