i'll bet lojack works pretty good. as long as its still in the USA(which many have already acknowledged).

im just not sure i would want it back after its been stolen. who knows what has been done to it? if someone steals my car i hope they make it disappear forever.

damn that sucks.

Were the keys in it? If not interested to know how they bypassed the passive anti-theft.

That weird about the lojack. Why would they wait 24 hours it's not like a missing person that you just can't get a hold of.

Waiting 24 hours doesn't sound right. Time is critical when a car gets stolen. Every minute you waste, the car could be another mile further away.

Are you sure your car wasn't towed away? I'm curious about how some one could steal a car with an immobilizer. Watching...

wow, thats insane. What exactly did lojack tell you? Thats lame, it should of been instant. Did you have a certain plan, or whats their excuse for it not being immidiate?

Did you have "gap" insurance, or at least thats what I think its called?

Well if your car is not found in 24 hours you get the install cost of the lojack back...........and insurance will end up paying for the car.........

Gotta lock your doors from now on so it disables the ignition...........

As far as I know, the LoJack people do not work with the client, they work directly with the police. If they told you to "wait 24 hours" it's because they haven't heard any good news from the police yet. The client/victim is only required to report the theft to the police and provide their vehicle info, then the police will contact LoJack and the two will work together.

SOMEBODY PLEASEEEEEE help me

im crying right now

car was stolen last night between hrs 10pm-230am
Dang, I'd say you need a new lojack company when you get your car back. All the commercials I hear lately (dunno the company) say that it is almost instantaneous. Your car shows up on police car's computer screens when it's stolen.

I'd definitely pitch a fit. Like the others have said, 24 hours this close to the border is retarded. Hell it's retarded no matter what. A car can be stripped in less than an hour usually. 24 hours = 24 cars stripped, and yours is just one of the pack.

Locking the doors has nothing to do with the ignition being disabled. Without the signal from the chip in the key the ignition is disabled.
