The wonderful part of life is some day you get to be an adult and yell at your kids ........just part of life........being young is tough........my son is your age and I am really hoping when he grows up he still appreciates working on cars as much as he does now.......hang in there.........it does get better.

 

its better now, but i dont think he realizes how much i know. and i have never once heard him say "good job" or "im proud of you" which really hurts

 

yeah sometimes parents forget the simple things that mean the most to a kid......i know I am guilty of it too.....life can be a bit to involved at times to remember how simple it is to make a differance.

 

You better get used to it. Once you get a job, your boss/supervisor will rarely says those things to. I think we've all gone through what you're going through. (Maybe not to your extent.) Sometimes people have stressful things (job, stocks, divorce, etc.) going on in their lives and unfortunately they take them out on other people. Maybe your dad is one of those persons? Like the saying says, "There's 2 sides to every coin.". You already know your story but try and look at it from the other's perspective. Now you don't have to agree with the other person's views but at least you have an idea of what's going on. Whatever you do, don't do anything drastic!! You have peeps on here who you can talk to. You be surprised how much better you feel when you talk things out. GL

oem headlights and cf dash kit are going on tomorrow.
in regards to blacking out the entire car, thats a big no no since im in cali. ill have it partial black out (smoked eyelids and side markers, getting the front 2 windows retinted) but stuff like teh tail lights is a no. ive been debating on doing the third brake light for the longest time, but idk yet
