Cleaning The Glass......

Invisible Glass..
I Followed the directions and used a Lint Free Microfiber Clothe...
After i was finished... I still had streaks!!>..
Did i do something wrong?....
Is there a certain trick/tip...?
Anyone Help... Ahh StreeKS!!!

 

I use Rain-X on my windshield

so windex doesn't cut it for me

i drive a 1996 toyota corolla

invisible glass + rain x= no streaks

windex +rain x = streaks

 

I don't think the microfiber towels are best for cleaning windows. I'm using a roll of blue shop towels (from Wal-Mart) which seem to have much less lint than paper towels. They look the same as the ones Griot's Garage charges $19.99 a roll for. I'm using 3M aerosol window cleaner, but Invisible Glass should work well with them too.

 

This is gonna sound REALLY ghetto and weird but next time get a single newspaper sheet and use that instead of a towel/cloth... it will leave NOTHIN at all...

i have used the invisible glass stuff before . No matter what u use with it you'll have streaks, so you're better off using something else/.

 

I use blue shop towels also and sometimes newspapers.

DEFEINITELY GET RAIN-X!!! (well if it's raining). I live in California so I only need it like 1 month of the year around Oct-Dec. That stuff is so cool and does wonders!!!

I might try that fog stuff next.

 

I have used newspaper to clean my windows since I was 5 yrs old helping my grandfather clean his show car. So that is 18yrs of using it and it is better then any paper towel, or cloth.

 

not ghetto at all, it's what i use/do and it's the best thing i can find plus it comes everymorning

damn..I didnt know so many of you knew about newspapers..lol

and about RainX...while it's good for the rain.. I HATE IT the rest of the time because early in the morning it makes your windows FOGGGGYYYy way more than it should be...and the bad thing is that you can't get rid of the fog and have to keep your wipers on for a good 5 min or get up to speed on the road
