Default Sun Visor

Anyone else think the sun visor is crap? That thing is so small it doesnt keep any sun out at least not when its on the side. Does anyone know if there are attachments for the sun visors or would I just have to get new one?

Yeah, it is small. The shorter drivers and passengers will suffer if the sun is shining their way. I've seen attachments but they don't look...well, I suppose they work.

Well the sun visor was only meant to keep direct glare out of your eyes. You could always just buy a pair of sunglasses?

Not unless I want a sunglass tan on the side of my face. You see When I drive home from work the sun is ALWAYS shinning on the left side of my face so if I was to wear sunglasses I would have a strip on the side of my face from the sunglasses. So I am going to need to look into this more.

Do you have tinted windows? Maybe you should get a tint visor or something. I have a visor made of tint that spans the top of my windshield... I don't think I've ever used the visors on my xA... Then again, I have sunglasses that turn the brightest day into the gloomiest...Oakley Plates: Black Iridium...lol

Well I will be getting my windows tinted soon I guess that might help somewhat. Its just hard for me to drive then the sun is hitting the side of my face and I mean its beating down on my face. I think one side of my face is darker than the other . Its jsut I live in Cali and I just dont want to get a big fat ticket for having my front windows tinted too dark. Technically I shoult even get the front ones done but I need a little tint on it.

Get the back windows and hatch like...20-25% and the two in the front at 35%... Or if you're scared about getting a ticket, roll both your windows down when you get pulled over...

Yeah, only if they notice ahead of time, I guess... I have 20% all around and 25-27% is the legal limit. I know of some people who've gotten tickets. As long as it's not raining, I usually have my windows down anyway... *shrug*
