HID's for $130 isnt too bad shipped. i've had HID's for some time now and their brighter, clearer, and just look down right sexy, I guess it all depends on how much money you really wanna spend.

It is because if it is from factory, the headlight is designed to point the light beam in a certain way so not to blind other drivers, but HIDs in a halogen equipped car the the light beam is distorted and not focused thus blinding other drivers.

i have no clue if it's a fed or state law, my best friend's ex is a cop and he told me "the rules of modding" when i told him what i wanted to do with my car. some states (and cops) are more lenient than others, but basically, ANY modification that you make to your car (lowering springs, intake, exhaust, tint, headlights, taillights, whatever, etc.) is illegal. some things are a little easier to get away with than others.

I know someones gonna ask. Car listings:300zx Twin Turbo (380hp), Eclipse Turbo (210hp), SRT-3 Stage 3 (310hp), White Turbo Tc (308.5hp), Evo 8...ya, BSP Tc (turbo soon) haha.
Both Tc's running 8k HID's from right here on S.L. 140 shipped... easy peezy best mod on my car yet!
As I said... why spend money on imitating. HID's rule!
