Tanabe USA Wants to Know...
Hello Everyone,
Last June, we held an R&D Session at our Torrance, California location to test brand new parts for aftermarket tuning.

Our next R&D Session is coming soon, and we'd like to know what suspension, chassis, and exhaust parts you'd be interestd in seeing for future productions.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with us, Tanabe is a longtime manufacturer of springs, coilovers, exhaust systems, and chassis bracing for Japanese cars.
That said, what parts would you guys be interested in seeing in the future? The application doesn't have to be specific to the chassis of this forum btw.

For those that have dealt with the troubles of a header and rasp, maybe a bolt on exhaust system that would help to eliminate the rasp. This would include muffler and custom mid pipe that is best suited for dealing with rasp. Just thinking that is there was something that was already put together and worked more people with think twice about getting a header. I know I spent countless hours and amounts of money trying to deal with this and if there was something on the market that solved that problem I would definitely purchase it.
Currently have Tanabe medallion touring exhaust with custom resonator mid pipe.

i love the price of your coilovers, but the max ride height kills it for me!
i understand that the coils are for performance, not looks, but about 90% tc owners with coilovers are looking to slam their rides, me being one of them!
so id say revise your coils and let us go lower!!!

sorry but this is what i am looking for . . . a minimal to a negligible
drop for a performance upgrade at an awesome price.
just how minimal is the drop with the tanabe coilovers ? it should have
a range of adjustment, no ?
scratch that . . . found the answer to my own question
from tanabe's site ----> -3/8~-2in / -3/8~-2 3/8in - front/rear
only 3/8 of an inch .. . too cool . . . . i'm thinking maybe an inch
in the front and 3/8 in the back.

I think more suspension products like others have said under-braces,chassis brace, under panels like what beatrush and voltex make for the evo's and sti's. Adjustable endlinks would be nice and a windslpitter and canard combination. I remember a company made a carbon fiber air duct for the lower bumper that look like what Varis and Titek made. It would be sweet if Tanabe could make some carbon fiber aero parts for the TC. Since Tanabe are suspension guru's you guys should have no probelm making the TC handle better since it runs almost the same suspension specs as the late celica. I hope you can make these products it would open the TC to so much more options. Oh also a more agggresive coilover system that deletes all wheel but still gives performance. I think most owners would agree wheel gap on any modified vehicle just doesn't cut it. Thanks for the interest in our community.

the tanabe concept g is a straight out style right?
and you guys like the price of their coils? they're like the same as all the others lol, but if you want to drop your ride next to nothing, just get the trd springs or somethin, not worth the price of coils.
i know a catted header was made, and i jsut bought one, but it would be nice to see more catted headers
