Default TC* TWM Short Throw Installed

Hey you guys I just installed my TWM Short Throw..

SO far..Best Mod yet..I love how short it feels and precise..you know when you shift gears and sometime U grind if you dont lock it into place, Well that always happened to me, So I decided to go w/ the Short Throw.

Its Install was kinda difficult..But its in..Tell me what U guys think about it.

U can also lower the shift **** of you liked..But I like it in the middle.

I kinda wanna find out how to adjust the shifter boot to make it look like its not so bunched up..Any Ideas how?

SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE PICS..

Looks nice- I’m jealous, but will have one before long-

How long did it take you, and how talented are you at other installs?

Did you dremel the clip?

EDIT- oh, and I think you are SOL about the bunched look-

The boot is stapled to the rectangular frame underneath it. Pop out the frame, remove the staples and re-staple it. You may want to cut off the extra material. Be sure to measure and test fit first.

This S/S looks good.

Im looking at it right now Im thinking about just keeping the bottom of the boot where it is and just repositioning the top part..its only held on to the chrome plastic piece buy a clip

Nice pics, looks good.
Post a new picture if you fix the shift boot.

Does anyone know if the threads are the same (as oem) on the shaft so that you can use other *****? for example using the stock ****, or obx *****.

Here's my pictures:
Picture is when I'm trying to remove the clip:

This one is the comparison of the two shifters:

This is my shift **** and shifter before the install:

This is the shift **** and shifter after the install:

And for those who want to see what the TWM **** looks like:

I posted this last night in this thread: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...29410&start=55

This short shifter is very nice. I'm not too big a fan of the TWM shift ****, too used to my razo, but I still have it; I like the weight of it.

So is the throw actually a shorter distance or is this just a shorter stick with the same geometry? I am used to looking at Mustang shifters so I am a little lost. :D
