Default tC = girl car

Well, there's 3 new tC's in the parking lot where I work. It's a big mortgage company in Southern Cali. Anyhoo.... All 3 are are owned by women. One 19 year old white chick, one late 20's asian girl with a cute tinkerbell sticker on the back window, and one 50+ older asian lady. Two are BCP and one light blue(whatever it's called)

Anyway, the other day, at target I saw a cute chick checking out my xb while driving through the parking lot. She too was driving a tC.

Now that I think of it, the first tC I ever saw(on the road) was about a week after they came out. It was silver with the 18's, and yes indeed, a female driver.

In fact, out of the many tC's I've seen on the road, I'd say roughly 80% had female drivers. What's up with that? Just curious on how you guys feel about this. Have any of you experienced this? Do you think it makes your car more appealing or less? I'm not knocking the tC, I'm simply stating what I've seen. What do you think?

well......possibly the tC is simply appealing to females.....which in turn...wouldn't that get any guy driving one more attention from the ladies???? only seems logical to me.....

I've noticed a lot of 350Z with women drivers. Does this make them less appealing? No.

Hmm well you live in LA so there is probably a chance you just haven't seen every TC there and you could've been at the wrong place at the right time or only seen a small amt. because I've only seen 1 female driver out of the 20 or so I've seen throughout 2 different states.

yeah, same with the SC430.....

anyway, the car looks masculine enough to me. i don't need a huge hemi-powered Dodge Ram to make me feel more like a man. i figure i'll just make my car faster than a regular "chick" tC. It'll be great.

Just because you've seen a lot of girls drive the tC doesn't make it a girl's car. I've seen a lot of overweight middle-aged men drive the xB...does that make it a fat guy's car? NO! I understand you weren't trying to make fun of the tC, but creating a subject with the title "tC=girl car" might deter some people from buying the tC.

Only men with mullets and living in the 1980s still buy Mustangs and Camaros (btw, they don't make these anymore incase you haven't noticed).

No... But perhaps the fact that it comes in baby blue does. They didn't put that color in the line up on accident. They could have kept the current scion colors, but they chose to add a new one for this car. And that's what they chose.

If this car was developed for the "american market" then when they developed that baby blue color they definitely didn't have the american "male" in mind... IMO

Default chick's thoughts

I don't think the tC is a male or female car. I used this quote because it implies that the tC is a man's car that the chick's are driving. Just my .02 on the quote.

Anyway how did the females that you work with go about getting the car? I would think one saw the others car and had to have one too. Or chicks talk, alot so maybe one said something about how excited she was about her ride and showed the girl on the computer or from a the brouchre (sp?) so she put hers on resreve too. Make sense?

I too think the tC is cute, but I also think guys are cute. But that doesn't make them girlie, cause then they'd be ___ and cute .
