tC 4th best resale value of all models
That's probably the exact reason why the Solstice made the list. Because there's already very few of them, even when they're sold used they can still get near-MSRP for them.
I doubt it says anything of the quality of the car, because surely nothing could break in only a year. I hope. There are plenty of people who turn around and sell cars with less than 20K miles on them, though. Particularly in the case of a 2-seater, it shouldn't be that surprising. People sometimes realize that they really do need a backseat, or they find out their wife was actually a month pregnant when they bought their new Solstice.

I can account for the high resale value firsthand. I traded my 06' tC in for an '07 (had a LOT of problems with the '06) and I had enough $$$ left over from the trade that my loan on the '07 is CHEAPER than my original loan on my '06 (with EXACTLY the same accessories) as my previous tC. Oh, how I love my car! :D
I figured that they had a good resale value cuz I checked it on edmunds.com. I just picked a 2005 tc and made it look like I was trying to sell it, with 35000 miles on it it was still worth around 15000
