Default tC Drivers Side Power Door lock malfunction

Not a big deal, but definitely annoying. I got my AT FM tC about two weeks ago. Absolutely LOVE the car. Definitely a big step up from my old corolla. Well, not two days after I drove it off the lot, my driver side power door lock stopped working.
Basically, the driverside door lock will lock using either the FOB or the power doorlock buttin on the door, but it won't unlock!

Figuring this would not be a big issue to have fixed (probably just need to lubricate the locking mechanics or replace the wiring harness) I took it into the dealer to have it fixed. I brought it in yesterday at 7am.
IT IS STILL THERE TODAY! Apparently this is not a simple problem. The service folks have flat out told me they don;t know what the problem is, and that its something electrical that they have to troubleshoot before they can fix it.

So, they've spent about 15 man hours at this point (tech has been working on my car since 8 am yesterday) and still no fix! Any suggestions? Anyone else have this problem?

Suuuuuurre Wish it were that easy man. I just called back and they said it might be a faulty master power distribution harness or somethign like that. I've never heard of this part, so who knows? They did say they are tracing the connectivity of each wire in the car to figure out where its l;osing continuity. Now going on 18 man hours for a stupid doorlock! Glad i'm not paying for labor!

update: Dealer finally figured out what was wrong. There is a bad relay in the car. BAd thing: not a single part dealer in the U.S. carries it. they have to import it from Japan. ETA: 2 weeks for delivery. PLUS, they said they would have to keep the car almost the entire day when it comes in so they replace it, as about 1/4 of the car has to be taken apart to get to the relay.

ARGHH!!! BUt at least its something thats not a major mechanical or electrical thing. If this is the wors thing that happens I'll be happy.
