tC driving in Canada = supercar status
I took a trip to Toronto this weekend. I guess there are no scions in Canada, so mine was mabey the only one?? Or close to it?
The Valet was asking all about it, groups of kids were staring and pointing, everywhere i parked it people looked at it as if it was a Skyline Gt-R or something.

I was talking to my cousin in Toronto a few months ago and loves the tC, he was jealous that I owned one at that point (he doesn't know that I traded it in for a 1st gen box - he'll be ____ed - and before you diss, I just didn't fit comfortably in the tC). Anyways, he mentioned that they're not allowed in Canada due to the glass roof. I guess glass roofs don't meet some sort of Canadian safety standard. He also mentioned that used xB's (which can be imported into Canada) fetch ALOT of money in the Great White North. Take off, eh.

Yes, i went to Canada last year to watch some dirt track racing with my uncle for a weekend and everybody was looking at me. Their eyes were glazed over. I had parked the car to go into McDonalds and when i was inside and looked out, there were a few people that kind of walked up / past the car and looked in to see what it was. Kind of wierd having these people do that but o well, they've never seen them before.

You're right! I know a few Canadian folks who would just love to at least just SEE a tC in person!
Sometimes, its nice having something exclusive to the USDM (not that I don't care for my Canadian neighbors, but it makes me feel special )
Too expensive, and a lot of hassle. Also, I don't think it meets some sort of Canadian safety standard... or two... who knows.

Do you guys remember that one Toronto auto dealer manager who made username on here? He posted a topic if we were interested in selling our tC's and if we were willing to drive up there that he would pay us top dollar in US dollars.
If I ever get offered to work up there during my company's warehouse opening (Since the company wants a wrehouse in Toronto area) that I may have issue bringing my tC with? I know they told us already, they will have few car carriers and they will ship to Canada and back so the company doesn't have to pay for rentals.
We could be working there for least four months. I just don't want to see a mean Canadian mess around with it cause I'll be sent to Canadian prison.

A dealership has found a way to import a tC to Canada. Not cheap though. Several things have to happen (like day time running lights and inspections) to be legal in Canada.
