I have a son who's 3 years old now. Ive had my car since Feb 06, when he was 2. We still use the same big stroller that we used when he was an infant (the one that u could put the infant car seat and attach it or when they get older just not put the infant car seat and its a regular stroller) and it fits perfectly in the back. I think it's family friendly.

With kids, a four-door is always better, but not necessary.
I've got a granddaughter who's two, and I keep her seat in the back over the weekends.
I take my wife and son and sometimes my other daughter as well and the tC is great.
Not a Ford Explorer or H3, but it's a great trade-off.

I get by easily with the tC and three kids, and one grandchild.

Hard to say those "grand" words, but time flies.

Well congrats on your kid.

Funny, I bought mine to avoid having to load people in it, and it works, but lil kids should be fine. I know its kinda tough gettin em in and out cause it sits pretty deep in the back, but from the looks of it, both seats should fit fine.

I roll with a pair of carseats in the back all the time. The boy (3yo) is on the passenger side, the girl (16mos) is on the driver's side. We often transport a pair of strollers with us, a McLaren Volo and a lightweight Britax-- plenty of room, and I have a box with a pair of eD 11Kv2s in the hatch area.

No one needs some massive SUV when they have 2 kids. I actually prefer 2-doors over 4-doors with kids, because that's 2 less doorsd and 2 less windows for them to be monkeying with. Everytime we take the wife's 'Rolla, the back windows are up-down-up-down-up-down.

There's only one mod a tC needs to accomodate 2 kids: headrest monitors and a DVD player. That silence is indeed bliss.

I personly think that these cars are roomier then most two doors out there. I was suprised with the ease of gettin in and out of the back seats and the room back there also.

Hi Guys,

I have an 06' TC and can't seem to find an infant car seat that will fit in the back? Any suggetions? Were they in the middle or behind one of the seats? And if so, could you put the seat back so a tall person can drive? Thanks!!!

Any seat will fit.
You can also use the hook/belt to go over the back seat to attach to the loop in the trunk for excellent safety.
I use it on the passenger side, and with nobody in it, they can move all the way back.
If the child is larger, you obviously have to start moving the seat forward.
It's not a big car, but I've managed - and still do - with a baby seat in the back.
