Default tC final cost

how much was the final cost of your tC including tax??? also what were your monthly payments and your rates?

i talked to my dealer today and he said that the A/T tC's (stocK, no accessories) final cost including tax would be under $18,400 (in hawaii we have a 4% sales tax)....... would this seem reasonable???

Default my price

My dealer quoted me for an automatic stock tC for $18,564.34 total which includes the 7% sales tax. and free mats.

Monthly payments $266.27 with $4,000 down. Rate will be 3.5%.

Base: $16,750
Fuel Surcharge: $6
Del, Proc & Hndlg: $565
Battery and waste tire fee: $8.50
Tag (transfer): $145
Sales Tax :$1089.66

Grand Total: $18,564.34

I don't know how the tax came out that high but that's the quote he gave me. I also don't know where the extra .18 cents came from. Anyone good at math?

Its a little high, but not unreasonable. That means your paying about $450 dollars in dealer fee, I know I am going to have to pay about $480 in dealer fees. Fee are ranging from $100 - $800 throughout the country. Some of us just end up paying more because we end up living in a certain area

I'll probably get ~$200/mo for 60mos at an APR of 4.95%.

Here's the breakdown:

5-speed BCP 16,465.00
6-disc changer 395.00
B-pillar appliques 75.00
lighting kit 250.00
shift **** 59.00
rear bumper applique 58.00
floor mats 145.00

That's a total of 17,447.00

then sales tax was 1046.82
so then we're at 18,493.82
I put 500 down so now 17,993.82

licence and registration 46.00
title fees 41.65
lien notation fee 5.00
and DOC FEE ONLY 60.00!

So my grand total was 18,146.47

Then as for financing: 4.5% adds on 2,189.93
Total paid is 20,336.40
divided by 60 months is 338.94

There ya go!

Just sticker, options, and destination. If you take a peek at my post above, I have it all calculated and the tax is on just that. No fees (lic, reg, doc) are included in tax calculation. Hope this helps! :D
